Two-of-A-kind tees
Some of the honcho’s wanted T-shirts made for an upcoming senior leadership conference. (They always do.) While the expectation was the standard fare—logo, year, city—we had other ideas. Because the theme of the meeting was "reconnecting with creative culture," we took it upon ourselves to show our leaders what that meant. We challenged our creatives from across the country with a question: "What does Integer culture mean to you?" The catch was, the answer had to be submitted in the form of a one-color T-shirt design.
Almost 100 unique designs poured in—and that’s when we go to work. To articulate the “reconnecting” idea, we had two of each design created: one went to the artist who made it, the other to a specific member of the senior leadership team. Leaders were awarded with their T-shirt when they showed up to the conference, along with a handwritten tag that identified the shirt’s creator and explained the meaning behind the design. The project was a key aspect of the conference. It set the tone and helped all in attendance understand the army of creative individuals they represented every day.
